Our Healing and Education Center

PAKARINKA USHAY is an Andean ceremonial and cultural education center in the rural Indigenous community of Agato, Otavalo at the foot of Tayta Imbabura mountain, only a 15-minute drive from the city of Otavalo in Ecuador.

The Healing Center was built twenty years ago atop a sacred hill that has been a ceremonial site for over a thousand to fifteen hundred years. During the construction of the center, numerous ancient archaeological artifacts were uncovered, further connecting the land to its rich spiritual history. This deep-rooted energy is one of the reasons why many people feel a powerful and transformative frequency the moment they enter the Center. The archaeological artifacts can be admired in the little museum of Pakarinka Ushay, which is open to the public (please contact us beforehand).

Pakarinka Ushay warmly invites local, national, and international visitors to explore and experience traditional runakawsay (the living culture of the Andean indigenous people) and runayachay (ancestral knowledge).A core part of our mission is to support individuals on their physical, emotional, and spiritual healing journeys. Through powerful ceremonies, Andean energetic cleansings wayra pichai, and plant medicine ceremonies with Ayahuasca and Huachuma, we guide participants toward deep transformation and connection with the healing wisdom of the land.
